Setting: Dance floor activation for weddings, private events, and late-night sets.
Goals: Keep the floor open, invite instant participation, and read clearly under mixed light.
Venue fit: Works in lofts, clubs, tents, and galleries; quick changeovers and minimal footprint.
Flow: Coordinates with DJ/band; unobtrusive for photo/video; easy for all ages.

Experience

Guests step onto the dance floor and their silhouettes appear in real time, leaving glowing trails as they move. Built with Kinect tracking and TouchDesigner, custom color palettes for each event.

Design & Build

Sensors: Kinect depth camera (guest tracking)
Mapping: Room-specific alignment; clean silhouettes and trails
Control: TouchDesigner with live palette/sketch switching
Footprint: Short-throw projector; 10–12′ throw; screen or white wall
Setup: ~90 minutes; on-site operator included
Options: Wedding colors; monogram/logo incorporation; photo/video capture and venue specific screen/rigging
